HYPERION
Hyperion is Alerion’s next‒generation aircraft designed for high‒performance wind turbine inspections. Its autonomous flight workflows and inspection‒optimized hardware deliver consistent blade data in minimal time, while the foldable carbon‒fiber airframe streamlines field logistics and reduces total inspection time.
With a front‒mounted 2‒axis gimbal, quick‒release payload system, and high‒resolution sensing (including a 60 MP camera with RTK GPS and LiDAR capability), Hyperion captures precise, repeatable datasets—supported by onboard compute for advanced inspection workflows. Built‒in health monitoring and safety logic enhance reliability in demanding operations.

EXDRONE
ExDrone is Alerion’s breakthrough platform for inspections in explosive atmospheres — the world’s first certified drone designed exclusively for this mission. Built from scratch to digitize hazardous zones, it provides safe, on-demand access to previously hard-to-reach areas, minimizing the risks of manual inspections while making the process up to 10x faster. With ATEX & IECEx suitability for Zone 1 and Zone 2 (and Zone 0 only under safe work permits), ExDrone combines high-resolution visual and thermal imaging with modular sensing—gas detection, LiDAR, and NDT/UT-ready capabilities—to deliver traceable, actionable data for integrity and maintenance decisions.

DIGITAL TWIN
Within a long‒term strategy towards digitalization of wind turbine operations, ALERION has deployed the ALMA platform, a life cycle management platform of wind assets. Based on Digital Twins generated using Aeroelastic Models , LIDAR and photogrammetry, this platform automates diagnostic operations of the windfarm in a systematic manner and provides information to the owners and operators for performance improvements.
